Mary P. Price has spent her professional and personal career helping people. It is her life’s work.

Mary worked in counseling practices in South Carolina Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, at MUSC, and with Parole and Pardon Services before opening her private practice in 1992. Throughout this dedicated career, Mary has witnessed people who have reclaimed their lives and emerged healthy and productive. She has been involved with their renewed good health and often an integrated part of their success.

Mary’s extensive work with children has brought her autistic clients and she has several recovered autistic children in her practice.

When Mary realized that multiple efforts to correct disorders with medications and counseling were not totally addressing client needs, Mary knew there had to be other options and she began a search for new and non-drug solutions.

In 2000 Mary began her training in neurofeedback and completed several certification programs. After extensive research, she found the Zengar program NeurOptimal Pro to be the most consistent, safe and effective neurofeedback program.

Throughout her life, Mary has gathered extensive knowledge about nutrition and its effects on physical and emotional health. She has a keen interest in herbs, homeopathy, chiropractic, massage, acupuncture and other complementary healing practices. This extensive knowledge informs her daily counseling wisdom as she considers the whole person in her practice.

Mary’s personal interest is animals and she enjoys walks with her dogs on the beach. She takes hikes and spends time in nature, especially with friends and family.
